Everything is about Leadership Development
Every endeavor, activity or event undertaken by ADP is led by grassroots people because we believe people should have control over the decisions that affect their lives.
How do we do this? Three ways:
- Creating our Community Economy
- We engage in cooperative economic development.
- We create new locally controlled affiliate institutions that grant economic and decision-making power to our members.
- We cooperatively control assets and wealth worth $45 million.
- Community Organizing
- We work to change policy; focusing at the local, regional and national level
- We promote civic engagement in our in order to hold our elected officials accountable through our voice and our vote.
- Community Building
- We invest in the well-being of individuals while strengthening our communities and neighborhoods.
- We sponsor community activities including summer BBQs, Annual Holiday Parties, Youth Tutoring and other events.
- We are creating sustainable and healthy communities.
