ADP Community Convention: Real People. Real Issues. Real Results.
On October 28, 550 ADP community leaders joined together in recognition of our shared fate and to wield our power and demand justice. U.S. Senator John Kerry and Lieutenant Governor Tim Murray were there, standing shoulder to shoulder with us and joining in our fight. They listened to testimony, they signed the Community Values Pledge, and they committed to working with us in making real change at the state and national levels. Even U.S. Senator Ted Kennedy joined our team by sending a personal letter of commitment to ADP members! We are fighting to Create an Economy that Works for All of Us, for Access to Education, Civil Rights of Youth, Health Care for All, Worker and Immigrant Justice. State Rep. Ben Swan and State Sen. Stephen Buoniconti were there too and joined our fight. The only elected official who didn't attend was Mayor of Springfield Dominic Sarno, but he has since committed to a follow up meeting with ADP leaders in December! Now that's Power!
