Affiliate Institutions
The ADP is committed to creating member institutions that contribute to the ADP community economy, address the needs of our members and maintain power over the decisions that effect our members’ lives. The ADP currently has five dues–paying, affiliate cooperative institutions and one individual member, dues paying cooperative affiliate institution. These affiliate institutions were created out of ADP organizing campaigns in affordable housing, worker rights and immigrant rights.
ADP Cooperative Principles
In making decisions that effect out lives, ADP members shall follow a set of shared cooperative principles including:
- ALL MEMBERS must be informed of the COOPERATIVE STRUCTURE
- ALL MEMBERS have a VOICE and shall be RESPECTFULLY treated as EQUALS
- EDUCATION and TRAINING are to be included when appropriate
- The ADP COMMUNITY ECONOMY hires first among its MEMBERS and ALLIES
- Decisions must find BALANCE between INDIVIDUALS and COMMUNITY, BUSINESS, the ENVIRONMENT, WORKERS and TENANTS
Principios Cooperativos de ADP
En la toma de decisiones que afectan nuestras vidas, los miembros de ADP seguirán una serie de Principios Cooperativos Compartidos incluyendo:
