Week 11 Action Alert
President Obama understands that we need to fix the broken immigration system for economic recovery, stability and future growth. He supports a comprehensive solution that will reduce illegal immigration, respect hardworking immigrant families, and reflect American values of fairness, justice, and getting things done.
Opponents of comprehensive immigration reform offer excuses and rhetoric, not real solutions. They say we can’t reform our immigration system at a time when our economy is down. We say fixing our immigration system is a critical component of fixing our economy.
Let President Obama know he can count on us!

This week, Congress is working to pass on the President's budget. President Obama included $634 billion as a down payment on health care reform. We need your help in making sure that this budget passes, including the health care funding that will pay for reform in 2009.

Week 7 Action Alert
We need to invest in our families and communities by creating jobs, but we also need to make sure we are creating good jobs that pay family living wages and protect the rights and dignity of workers. Because the economy should work for everyone, not just bankers and big business.

Bold Step #2: Address Inequity in Massachusetts
The Economic Stimulus bill will create 3.5 million jobs nationally and 80,000 in Massachusetts. But there is no guarantee these jobs will reach the people who are hurting the most. Write a Letter to the Editor or sign onto the letter in the week 5 Action Alert by placing your name on the signature sheet.
